Tonight: a community AMA with MoonSwap and Conflux
Flexa’s Kayla Williams will be hosting an AMA discussion with Hatter from MoonSwap’s Community Committee and Sami Tannir from Conflux Network tonight, February 26, at 8 p.m. ET. Join us in the #ama channel of Flexa’s Discord server to ask any burning questions about Amp, MoonSwap, or the Conflux platform.
$MOON rewards for cAMP–cETH double on MoonSwap!
After becoming the most active pair on MoonSwap for the past month, the $MOON rewards multiplier has increased from 1× to 2× for the cAMP-cETH farming pool. MoonSwap is an automated market maker (AMM) decentralized exchange based on Conflux. If you’d like to start using MoonSwap yourself, take a look at our blog post announcing the launch to make sure that you’re set up properly to interact with the Layer 2 contracts on Conflux.
Amp available on Bancor v2.1
The AMP–BNT pool on Bancor’s AMM platform was recently whitelisted for v2.1 features after passing a unanimous vote. These features include single-sided liquidity exposure and a novel impermanent loss protection mechanism. Check out Bancor’s announcement and staking guide for more on this new technology and how to participate in the broader Bancor ecosystem. (Given that Amp is only the second token to be whitelisted in Bancor’s voting process since its launch in October 2020, we’re very grateful to the BNT community for supporting this proposal!)
Amp available on Gate.io
Gate.io has enabled two new trading pairs for AMP–USDT and AMP–ETH. Check out Gate.io’s announcement for details on getting started.

DeFi and payments news
Since the last Amp Community Digest, the financial industry has continued to lean into the idea of widespread crypto adoption. Most recently, BNY Mellon threw its own hat into the ring by announcing that they will support custody, transfer, and issuance of digital assets (including cryptocurrencies) for their asset-management customers.
Affirm founder and CEO Max Levchin is reconsidering crypto’s role in payments on his popular “buy now, pay later” platform. Speaking to CNBC, he said of crypto, “if it becomes a meaningful exchange that folks want to actually use to buy their Pelotons and their sporting goods, we will have to consider it.”
Canadian VersaBank has released the new Canadian dollar-based stablecoin, VCAD, which they’re claiming as “North America’s first bank-issued stablecoin.”
