The new Amp(era) begins
This week marked the official launch of the Ampera Foundation (AF). As stewards of the Ampera community, the AF announced its main project, the Ampera protocol, and shared updates about the transition.
The community was abuzz with speculation about what this would mean for the AMP token holders but excitement about the new development filled the air.
Thursday, the Ampera Foundation announced they will be hosting a Twitter space with the community. Submit your questions via the Google form.
With the Ampera protocol testnet launch imminent, the Ampera Foundation is looking for additional community members interested in testing the contracts to help identify any bugs or user-flow upgrade possibilities. To volunteer, submit your contact information, and the AF will reach out on a rolling basis.
Quick Bites
AMP’s Zapper integration has been migrated to Zapper Studio. Now, users can see their tokens in the capacity contract, how much they have earned, and the range of historical rewards (data will update every 15 minutes to reduce API calls).
In January, AMP was added to MEXC, a global multi-asset digital trading platform.
Flexa announced it would be sponsoring WalletCon, the first conference dedicated to the digital wallet experience, taking place during ETHDenver.
Community Events
Denver Community Meetup
If you’re in the Denver area, the community is organizing a meetup on March 1st. Details regarding the time and location will be shared via the Ampera Foundation Twitter.
Ampera at Consensus
April 26-28, the AF will be attending Consensus in Austin, Texas. The team will be sponsoring a booth and connecting with other DeFi leaders, meeting with the community, and introducing Ampera to attendees.
Ampera commemorative badge
To celebrate the launch of the Ampera Foundation, the AF helped create a commemorative badge for the entire community, free to mint on Polygon, courtesy of Galxe.
Thanks for tuning in! Remember to look for more frequent updates of all things Ampera on Discord and Twitter.
